Safety Advice

Please read through the Safe Working Practice to ensure prevention of injury or damage to the device.

  • Do not use this product for anything other than its intended purposes.
  • Ensure you have read and fully understood the instruction manual and safety advice before using this product.
  • Always assemble the aluminium outdoor kitchen on a flat, stable surface to ensure proper balance and prevent tipping.
  • Before beginning assembly, check that all components and tools are available and undamaged. Do not use parts that are bent, cracked, or otherwise compromised.
  • When assembling the kitchen sections, ensure that all connections and fastenings are securely tightened. Loose parts can compromise stability and lead to accidents.
  • Avoid over-tightening bolts, as this could damage the aluminium components or strip the threading, weakening the structure.
  • Do not modify the unit or add any other kitchen elements, such as gas burners or electrical appliances, as this unit is not designed to support them.
  • Ensure the kitchen is positioned in a well-ventilated area, away from any flammable materials, including dry vegetation, as a general safety measure when working outdoors.
  • Place the outdoor kitchen in a location that is not exposed to heavy winds, as high winds can destabilise the structure, especially when the unit is not anchored.
  • The kitchen is designed for outdoor use, but it is recommended to cover or store it under shelter when not in use to prevent long-term exposure to harsh weather conditions that could degrade the aluminium finish or cause corrosion.
  • Regularly inspect the kitchen structure for signs of wear or damage, particularly after exposure to extreme weather. Check for any loose connections or corrosion and tighten or replace parts as necessary.
  • Do not exceed the recommended load limits for the countertop (30kg) or storage shelves (5kg). Avoid placing excessively heavy items on the countertop, as this may cause deformation or compromise the stability of the unit.
  • When cleaning the aluminium structure, use mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as these can scratch or damage the surface.
  • Do not allow children to play on or around the kitchen unit. The structure is not designed to support climbing or rough handling.
  • For best results, ensure the kitchen unit is properly anchored if it will be used in a location where it may be subjected to shifting or movement, such as near a pool or on loose soil.
  • Be cautious when moving the kitchen unit. Use at least two people to lift and transport the structure to avoid damage or injury, as the aluminium frame may be heavy or unwieldy.
  • Be aware that aluminium surfaces can become very hot when exposed to direct sunlight. Use heat-resistant gloves or mats as necessary to avoid burns.
  • In the event of a fire in the surrounding area, remove flammable items and ensure all people maintain a safe distance from the kitchen unit. Aluminium is not fireproof and can deform under extreme heat.
  • Do not use the unit for purposes other than its intended use, such as seating or climbing, as this could lead to injury or structural failure.
