Safety Advice

Only qualified and competent electrical personnel should access internal components or perform installation or servicing.
Always isolate and fully disconnect the power supply before opening or servicing the enclosure to prevent risk of electric shock.
Do not use this product for any purpose other than housing approved electrical equipment as specified by the manufacturer.
Ensure the enclosure is securely mounted according to the installation instructions; improper installation can result in injury, equipment failure, or property damage.
Wall or surface mount only on structurally sound and level surfaces capable of supporting the weight of the enclosure and internal components.
Observe the maximum permitted load of internal mounting surfaces; do not overload the DIP rails or plywood mounting plate.
Use appropriate tools and follow PPE requirements (e.g. protective gloves and eye protection) when handling GRP surfaces to avoid cuts or irritation from sharp edges or fibreglass splinters.
Do not drill or mechanically alter the enclosure; doing so may compromise protection ratings (IP/IK) and void warranty or compliance.
Avoid obstruction of internal ventilation space; do not pack the enclosure tightly with components that may lead to overheating.
Do not obstruct cooling air circulation during operation; ensure ambient conditions meet enclosure specifications.
Allow components to cool down before conducting maintenance or inspection to prevent burns or heat-related injury.
Ensure the inner door and main door are closed and latched securely using the swing handle lock and 3-point mechanism after installation or maintenance to ensure weather and dust resistance; failure to do so may cause internal damage or electrical hazards.
Always check that the waterproof PVC warning label remains clearly visible and intact; replace it if damaged.
Confirm that the protection ratings match the intended location and mechanical exposure risks.
Suitable for outdoor and indoor use; however, enclosure must be installed in locations protected from excessive vibration or mechanical impact beyond its rated IK level.
Avoid placing the unit in direct contact with standing water or buried in the ground; the enclosure is not rated for submersion or underground installation.
Do not use the enclosure in environments containing flammable gases, explosive dusts, or corrosive chemicals unless explicitly certified for such use.
Ensure all cable entries, glands, and fittings are sealed using IP-rated components compatible with the enclosure material.
Check that mounting height avoids creating trip hazards or restricted access pathways; install only where it will not impede movement or emergency routes.
The enclosure must not be accessed or opened by unauthorised persons; keep the key cylinder secured and access controlled at all times.
Never force open the door or locking mechanism; if damaged, consult the manufacturer for replacement parts.
Periodically inspect the enclosure for signs of wear, corrosion of fixings, UV degradation, or seal failure; repair or replace components as needed.
This product is not a toy and must be kept out of reach of children or vulnerable persons; contains small parts and sharp edges that may cause injury.
Do not attempt to dispose of the enclosure in general waste; it must be disposed of according to local electronic equipment and fibreglass recycling regulations.
Product traceability information must be retained and remain affixed or recorded for recall and safety purposes.

1. Step 1 - The Lock

To lock the GRP door, turn the key by 90 degrees to the left and into a vertical position.
To unlock the GRP door, turn the key 90 degrees to the right and into a horizontal position.

Note: Press your hand down onto the door when turning the key.

2. Step 2 - Din Rails

To disassemble the din rails, use a M6 spanner to unscrew the 2 nuts in an anti-clockwise direction.
To install the din rails, place the rail into the correct position and screw the 2 nuts with the bolts in a clockwise direction, using a M6 spanner.

3. Step 3 - The Mounting Plate

To disassemble the mounting plate, use an M6 spanner to unscrew the 4 nuts in an anti-clockwise direction.
To install the mounting plate, place the plate into the correct position, and use an M6 spanner to screw in the 4 nuts and bolts in a clockwise direction.

4. Step 4 - The Wall Mounting Brackets

Drill through the holes in the wall mount.

Place the nut in the correct position of the wall mounting bracket.

Install the wall mounting pendant into the hexagonal mounting hole so you can easily adjust its angle (horizontal, vertical, or 45°).

Insert the bolts and fix the nuts to the brackets.

Repeat this for the remaining 3 corners.

Select a suitable position to fix the box to the wall.

Please note: It is the installer’s responsibility to verify suitability for the intended mounting surface and load. The manufacturer accepts no liability for failure resulting from inappropriate fixings.

5. Maintenance

Clean the exterior using a soft cloth and mild detergent; avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive tools that may degrade the GRP or PVC label.
Inspect door seals and locking mechanisms quarterly to ensure continued IP protection; replace seals showing signs of cracking or wear.
Re-tighten all mounting hardware and check for enclosure movement or instability during routine maintenance checks.
Check warning label visibility during every inspection cycle; ensure replacement labels are waterproof and compliant with original specifications.
Schedule internal inspections at least annually, or more frequently in harsh environments, to identify any signs of electrical wear or enclosure compromise.
Always use compatible fixings and gaskets when replacing or adding components to preserve enclosure integrity.
