Safety Advice

  • Only use the Mobile Ice Cart on flat, stable, and non-slip surfaces to prevent tipping and reduce the risk of accidents from spills.
  • Apply wheel brakes before opening the lid or accessing contents to ensure the cart remains stationary during use.
  • Regularly empty the drainage system and wipe away standing water to prevent slippery spills from melted ice or overflow.
  • Place absorbent mats or drip trays beneath the cart when in use indoors to minimise the risk of wet flooring.
  • When spillages occur, always display “Wet Floor” signs near the cart when in use in public or staff areas to warn others of potential slip hazards.
  • Secure or clip the drainpipe wherever possible to avoid it being a trip hazard.
  • Remove or lift the lid carefully and using both hands to avoid the risk of finger pinching or sudden drops.
  • Train all users on the correct and safe way to open, close, and secure the lid before use.
  • Always wear protective gloves when operating, cleaning, or transporting the cart to avoid cuts or injury from exposed steel edges.
  • Keep clear of the cart when moving it. Do not allowed any person to sit, stand or ride on the cart at any time.
  • This product should only be used by trained staff or competent adults who are physically capable of handling mobile catering equipment safely.
  • Do not store electrical devices or flammable substances inside or near the cart during operation.
  • This cart is not electrically powered and should not be modified to include electrical components unless certified by a competent professional.
  • Store the cart indoors when not in use to protect against weather damage, corrosion or unauthorised tampering.
  • Dispose of this product responsibly in accordance with local waste disposal regulations. Where possible, separate metal components for recycling.

1. Attach the Wheels to the Ice Cart

  • Attach the four wheels (Part B) to the mobile ice cart (Part A) with the bolts (Part C) provided.
  • Once the wheels are attached, the unit is ready for immediate use. Simply add ice to the well, ensuring the plug is securely in place.

2. Attach the Waste Pipe to the Sink

  • Attach the water pipe to the drain located underneath the sink. Direct the water into a suitable container or waste outlet.
  • When not in use, the waste pipe can be coiled and stored on the metal clip inside the cart.

3. Maintenance

  • Clean the interior and exterior surfaces regularly using mild detergent and non-abrasive cloths.
  • Empty the drainage pipe and dry the interior thoroughly after each use to prevent mould, odour and corrosion.
  • Inspect wheels, brakes, and drainpipe fittings monthly to ensure secure attachment and full function.
  • Lubricate wheel axles and brake mechanisms every 6 months to maintain smooth operation.
  • Immediately remove from service if any damage, instability, or corrosion is detected, and do not reuse until fully repaired or replaced.
  • Store in a clean, dry environment away from corrosive substances or extreme temperatures when not in use.
