The extendable handle is versatile and practical and the 24-inch metal mesh basket is equipped with diamond shaped 1/2" x 3/4" slits that allow for consistent and uniform distribution of material on your lawn. The T-Mech Compost & Moss Spreader is heat treated with a powder coated finish for protection against rust and corrosion.

Safe Working Practice

Please read through the Safe Working Practice to ensure prevention of injury or damage to the device.

We recommend the use of eye protection, safety gloves and non-skid footwear when operating the moss spreader.
The moss spreader has moving parts; ensure all loose clothing, hair and jewellery is tied up when using the moss spreader.
Keep the moss spreader away from children.
Do not use if any part is broken or damaged.
Do not modify this product in any way.
Do not stand or sit on the moss spreader.
Only use the moss spreader for its intended purpose.
When the moss spreader drum is full, the spreader can be very heavy. Use proper manual handling techniques when moving or lifting the spreader.
Do not fill the drum with materials other than moss, compost, soil or similar.

2. Assembly

When first unpacking your Compost & Moss Spreader, check each part against this list to ensure that they are all present. Each part is clearly labelled. If any are missing contact us before attempting to assemble.

A. Attach the U Arm to the Drum using the two washers and two pins.

B. Attach the T Handle to the U Arm using the connector pin.

3. Filling the Drum

To fill the drum:

Unlock the two latches on the drum door.
Fill the drum with the material you want to spread on your lawn.
Close the drum door and lock the two latches.
The spreader is now ready to use.

4. Cleaning the Spreader

The T-Mech Moss & Compost Spreader is made of highly durable heavy-duty steel which ensures it stays in top working condition.

We recommend following these simple steps to keep the spreader clean and working perfectly.

1. After use, please remove any unused material from the drum.
2. Rinse the drum with water to remove any remaining material.
