Safety Advice

  • Ensure you have read and fully understood the instruction manual and safety advice before using this product.
  • Only qualified persons should install this product. Improper installation may result in malfunction, water damage, or personal injury.
  • Ensure the heating system is fully isolated, drained, and depressurised before installation, inspection, adjustment, or removal of the valve.
  • Allow the system and valve to cool fully before handling to prevent burns or injury.
  • Confirm compatibility of the valve with the radiator type and heating system specifications prior to installation. Do not attempt to adapt or force-fit incompatible components.
  • Verify that the correct thread type and size are used. Do not connect mismatched threads as this may cause failure or leakage.
  • Hand-tighten connections initially, then secure using appropriate tools. Do not overtighten, as excessive force may damage threads, seals, or the valve body.
  • Ensure all connections are correctly aligned, sealed, and tightened to prevent leaks and potential water damage.
  • Do not remove or loosen the valve while the system is pressurised, as this may result in sudden water discharge and serious injury.
  • Do not subject the valve to impact, dropping, or mechanical shock, as this may cause cracking or structural failure.
  • Operate the valve only within the specified temperature and pressure limits. Exceeding these limits may result in failure or hazardous conditions.
  • Be aware that the valve body may become hot during operation. Avoid direct contact to prevent burns, particularly for children.
  • Keep children away from the valve and do not allow them to play with or adjust it. Supervise children in areas where the valve is installed.
  • Keep all detachable components, including caps, securely fitted and out of reach of children to prevent choking hazards.
  • When adjusting the valve, use the provided grip and turn gently. Do not apply excessive force to avoid strain injuries or product damage.
  • Avoid frequent or forceful adjustment cycles, as this may accelerate wear and reduce product lifespan.
  • Follow all usage instructions carefully. Do not tamper with factory settings.
  • Ensure the valve is not obstructed by furniture, curtains, or coverings, as this may impair temperature sensing and performance.
  • Be aware that prolonged use and pressure fatigue may weaken the product over time. Replace the valve at recommended service intervals or if wear is evident.
  • Avoid prolonged skin contact with metal surfaces if sensitive to nickel or plated materials, and wash hands after handling.
  • Ensure the radiator and associated pipework are securely fixed and stable to prevent stress on the valve connections.
  • Dispose of all packaging materials safely, keeping them away from children to avoid suffocation or injury hazards.
  • Replace the product immediately if any faults, damage, or irregular performance are observed, and use only manufacturer-approved replacement parts.
